MY NYSC EXPERIENCE IN KATSINA STATE
The National Youth service Corps which was inaugurated in the wake of the Civil War of the '70s,affords graduates the opportunity to experience foreign cultures in Nigeria and thereby appreciate the country's oness.

I also harboured the fantasy of serving in the North and see for myself if the many stereotypes we have about the Hausas are indeed true. You can't blame me though, what with the Boko Haram menace and the prevalent Sharia law makes we southerners a bit apprehensive of them.
My mobilization for the NYSC won't begin until January 2016 however, during which I did all my necesary clearances and paid my last dues to FUNAAB. by February I was able to register for mobilization and thus began the NYSC journey...
