I am a computer science graduate, a tech aficionado but what gets my goat is going out and appreciating the finer things of life, I love smelling the floor after a rainfall, I'm in love with distant lands and cultures, I am also a sucker for keeping memories as they are like time capsules for me to look back at how life was in some days.

Registration for mobilization began early February, and I registered early, but not early enough to make Stream 1 of the 2016 Batch A(an oversight that would later cause me anxiety). We the 21st century folks really have it good. We all can point to our parents and what education and learning was during their time before the advent of the Internet. All the education me from those voluminous text books that heaven helps you if you can't read them. It was a always a battle as they hardly had all the materials they needed to excel, as only a few students had access to all these expensive learning aids. The exercises in the Larcombes Class 4 edition my dad owned back in the day is enough to make an undergraduate shake with fear owing to the very tough questions in it. But, thank God for technology, we don't have to go through all these harrowing ordeals in order to be better students today. The internet is awash with millions of resources to help us. It is unfortunate that especially in this part of the world, almost 80% of our Internet usage is dedicated to mundane things like posting pictures on facebook, tweeting, Instagram, Snapchatting and the likes....

MY NYSC EXPERIENCE IN KATSINA STATE : FINAL DAYS IN CAMP

As the days wore on, activities at camp started crawling to a lull. This is not surprising, as the monotony of each day's activities coupled with the fact that that Ramadan fasting was also on made the officials at camp to treat us a little bit with ease. It was at this point I started enjoying the camping. There were many inter-platoon games going on, infact everything we did in camp, from marching to sports were competitions. Platoon 8 in which I was,could be said to be a lazy platoon, to put it mildly. Be it drama, cultural presentation, anything at all, we were sure to carry the last of second to last position 😢😢. Our only saving grace was the second position we took in the 4*100m females race, which was won for us by this girl: Roseline I myself was also part of the male team but we couldn't muster any of the top 3 positions.
